A Utah man who was trying to kill a mouse ended up shooting one roommate and getting another arrested for child rape, while a fourth roommate slept through the whole thing.
Apparently, the mouse survived.
“The mouse did survive,” he said. “There does seem to be a level of concern about the mouse. Actually, some people think the mouse should win an award for aiding in the discovery of sexual abuse.” (src)
